Prayer, The Christian’s Tool

Don’t be baffled that I’m writing on prayer. Note that this blog is not stereo-typed. It decently cuts across every works of life.

Now, prayer. What is prayer or what can be termed as prayer?

But before answering that question, let’s find out who can pray. Anyone can pray. In fact, everyone prays; a student prays to pass his examinations; a couples prays to prosper in marriage; a soldier prays to conquer in battle; a thief prays not to be caught☹️; a lawyer prays to win a case; and so on. With these lights, it is simple to define what prayer is.

Prayer is a request or solicit made to obtain a thing. Very simple. That is why some people write letters of application or proposals and at the end of the letter they make a prayer of what they want to obtain. That is prayer. In prayers, you lobby to get what you want. Now, it depends on who you are praying to. Prayers can be made to a friend, a business partner, an organization, a law court, an earthly parent, the devil or God. Having explained this much, let’s get down to the title of this article.
When prayer is referred as a Christian’s tool, such prayers can only be made to God; only those who have faith in God can make an effective use; only the righteous can successfully use it; only those who are fully obedient to God’s word and commands can enjoy its dividend.

Revelations 5:8 explains that when the saints pray, the prayers go into the harps and golden vials of the four and twenty elders in heaven as odours. When these prayers are made with holy hands and hearts, be sure that they have entered into the harps and golden vials of the elders in heaven who in turn present them to God as odours to trigger answers to the saint.

Beloved, live a holy and righteous life; have total faith in God; obey His commands; and the prayer tool will work for you.

God bless you.
